Olivier Berthod est professeur associé au département ressources humaines et comportement organisationel. Il est également membre du laboratoire de recherche CEREFIGE de l'Université de Lorraine, membre affilié au département de management de la Freie Universität Berlin, et professeur affilié en management et organisation à l’Université Jacobs de Brême. Titulaire de Masters en sciences de gestion des Universités Paris Dauphine et Linné (Växjö, Suède), il a obtenu son doctorat (rer. pol.) de la Freie Universität Berlin. Ses recherches portent sur la théorie des organisations et le comportement organisationnel, en particulier les problèmes de coopération et partenariats intersectoriels, la prise de décision, et la fiabilité. Ses travaux ont été publié dans des revues de premier rang, tel que le Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory, Journal of Management Inquiry, Public Administration, ou encore Organizational Research Methods.
